Substance abuse disorders have become psychological, social, and family problems today. This study aimed to investigate and compare schema therapy and mindfulness on the psychological capital of addicted men with group performance. In this study, a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design and a control group was used. Thirty addicts were selected by the convenience sampling method from the people present in Mehr Pouyan Addiction Treatment Camp and divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental groups were trained in mindfulness in eight sessions and schema therapy in ten sessions. Participants completed the Lutans psychological capital questionnaire in the pre-tests and post-tests stages. Multivariate analysis of covariance and the Benphroni post hoc test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that schema therapy and mindfulness cognitive therapy have increased psychological capital (p<0.001). Therefore, combining these techniques with other treatment methods is recommended to advance the treatment goals.
